Honor Tony Ferrero as our 2026 SAGE Person of the Year!

Tony Ferrero has been selected as the SAGE 55+ Council Person of the Year in recognition of his exceptional leadership and lasting impact on the senior housing and 55+ active adult industry. Over the course of his career, Ferrero has led the acquisition, development, marketing, and operations of more than $6 billion in real estate portfolios nationwide, including his involvement in the development and entitlement of both multi-family and single-family housing types for over 50 senior housing communities.

A recognized innovator, Ferrero has been instrumental in shaping the evolution of modern 55+ housing. While serving as Senior Vice President at MBK Senior Living, he helped grow the company’s portfolio to more than 2,100 units across 14 properties, a platform later acquired by Prudential and now part of the Brookdale Senior Living portfolio.

At Kisco Senior Living, Ferrero led the development of a pioneering institutional-quality 55+ active adult housing model, creating a cost-effective alternative to traditional independent living by maintaining thoughtful community design while streamlining service offerings. Within three years, the portfolio expanded to approximately 750 units across four communities, many of which are now owned by Clarion Partners.

Today, as Chairman & Founder of Clearwater Living and InSite Realty Advisors, Ferrero continues to lead the industry forward with innovative ideas, thoughtful community planning, and a commitment to advancing housing solutions for older adults.
